Computer will not update with Windows 8

I am trying to install updates. When it starts configuring, I get to 15-25% (not sure exact %). The computer then goes into a light blue screen with the "circle" continuing on the left side. It did this for hours before I had to restart manually. No Error

codes. What do I need to do?
