Windows 7 File Recovery system image VS recimg Custom Refresh image

Has anyone done some testing in regards to doing the full system image from Windows 7 File Recovery versus creating and setting a CustomRefresh.wim with the recimg tool? The Refresh seems easier to perform in the event I need to restore the image and it

won't affect my user files. The file size is also smaller. One downside I see is that I don't automatically get versioned images like I do with the W7FR system image tool, but that doesn't bother me since I've never restored an image beyond the most recent

one I've made.

Thoughts?
