windows xp 2 Security Updates show successful upon their download but are still present when re-checking.

2 Security Updates for Microsoft :

 

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB2729450)Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB2742596)

 

Were downloaded, shows successful but when re-checking at completion shows still present and 

>>> WILL NOT KEEP THEM DOWNLOADED!

When searching the same 2 re-appear again as not downloaded!

Why won't my pc see these 2 security updates as dowloaded accepted and successful?

My anti-virus had been enabled and disabled trying this and makes no difference.

Makes no sense! ALL past and current security updates are accepted with the exception of these 2!
