Windows 8 "PC Settings" /Personalise/ problem

Hi there,

I recently upgraded to Windows 8 (about a week or two ago) and have had a problem with the way I personalise my computer ever since.

When I click  "Change PC Settings", the words are very blurry and and completely black so stat I can't select them. Whatever I try and change, from my background to my display avatar, doesn't change. I have tried to "trust my PC" but my old e-mail doesn't

work anymore so I have to wait ONE WHOLE MONTH for it to go through. Please tell me I can fix this problem!
