Guest dcoolidge@gmail.com Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Hello, I am building 2003 servers and was wondering if it was better to install SP2 before or after the IIS install. Can I rely on windows update to get me the latest things that were in SP2 for IIS? Thank you in advance...
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Re: 2003 IIS & SP2 Hello dcoolidge@gmail.com, Doesn't matter, but if install new servers, i start with operating system, then service packs and then windows update. After that i go on with the rest of the installation. Guest Meinolf Weber Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Re: 2003 IIS & SP2 Hello just, IIS is not a bundle. It is included in windows server and you can install it via add/remove programs, windows components, applications, IIS. So i would install it, after i have the SP and all patches done.
