Windows 8 Mail app and Microsoft Account with GMail - No go?!

My Microsoft Account uses a Googlemail email address, so when I go into the Windows 8 Mail app I see that there but for whatever reason the Mail app appears to treat it as a Outlook Mail, not a Googlemail.

 

How can I get my email account in the Mail app to sync with my Googlemail account? I am not interested in creating new email account within the Mail app specifically using the Googlemail email wizard, I went my Gmail coming through my main email

account in the Main app. That means I want just one email account in the Mail app.
