How can I change the font on the Rich Text Format template so that all NEW documents are set to that

I want all new documents which I create to use the Comic Sans Font set to 12 pt size, but when I create a new Rich Text Format document it always reverts to Aerial font in a 10 pt size.

I have tried changing the font and size and then SAVE AS a RTF document in Wordpad, but each time I create a new document it is the Arial 10 pt text.
