MS Vista Home Premium SP2 32 bit

2 GHz   2 GB Ram

 

I ran windows update and during the installation got error messages 8000FFFF and 643.

 

Followed the FixIt program 50202, restarted computer.  Windows Update error 8000FFFF and 643.

 

Manually configured registery, Registery entries in troubleshooter were not present. Restarted computer; Windows Update error 8000FFFF and 643.

 

Ran scandisk and followed setup to run after restart.  Restarted computer; Windows Update error 8000FFFF and 643.

 

Run system restore.  System would only go back to 13 Jan 2013.  Restored computer to these settings. Restarted computer; Windows Update error 8000FFFF and 643.
