Hi everyone,

 

i have just purchased a new computer with Windows 8 on it.  I have been doing quite well over the weekend getting around it as previously I had XP.  Today though I have come across something I really don't understand.  On turning on my computer

I received a message "Windows update" Your computer will restart in 2 days!  Has anyone else come across this? Surely windows update can't leave you without a computer for 2 days!  Fortunately I still have my old one up and running

 

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated as i obviously still have 48 hours to wait until I can use my new  computer again!
