I am running under XP. Media Player functions OK for MP3 downloads, but asked for a decoder to play a DVD.

 

 

Downloaded a Codec decoder but now instead of playing the DVD  Media Centre just crashes.

 

 

Same thing happens with other decoders too.

 

Is there a preferred decoder ?

 

Has Bill Gates got a secret store of OK software downloads ?

 

HELP !!!!!
