I have a Lenovo X230, Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit Thinkpad.  I have another just like it, only one year older.  The new machine will not let me set up a logical drive.  The only menu choices in the Computer/Disk Management applet is for dynamic drives.

Is this a "new feature"?  I've added logical drives to literally hundreds of PCs in the past, including last years X220T, with the "same" hardware/software.  Lenovo Tech support says its "out of their scope" and Microsoft ways its a vendor issue.  I can still

send the machine back for a refund or exchange, but I get the feeling I may have the same problem/issue again. The hard drive is a solid state drive (as was last years).  Any knowledge or ideas about this issue?  Thanks.
