Paid out hard earned money to buy Office 2013, can't install on drive other than C drive: What's up

I am very upset that after buying the retail MS Office Home and Business, it doesn't install on a drive other than the drive the operating system is on, and I don't know of anyway to get my money back!

After using MS Office 2013 trial for nearly 2 months, I liked it, and bought it. It easily installed on my D drive and functioned without error. I read about it, but never read anything about it installing on the operating system drive only.

What in the world is this all about? My os drive is dedicated to the operating system. Something is very wrong here.

My information, above, is based on what technicians at MS help told me. I hope they are wrong and I hope somebody reading this will say different and perhaps tell me how to install it on another drive.

Thanks,

Clarence
