I've tried numerous times to update Vista from SP1 to SP2 using the standalone installer.  Each time I get the same error message before the installation even begins: "The specified module could not be found" (error code 0x8007007e).  I've tried using the

System Update Readiness Tool but that has not helped.  I've disabled all antivirus software and even tried installing in Safe Mode, each time receiving the same error message.

Also, SP2 does not show up in Windows Update, which is why I've been using the standalone installer.  Can somebody please help me??
