This is my daughter's Dell Inspiron E1705 with Windows XP SP3 installed. Everything has been wonderful until the other night, while she was working with this computer before going to sleep. She had the computer in bed with her when she fell asleep. During the

night she rolled over onto the computer and the display has turned sideways. The BIOS boot is correctly displayed as well as the first part of the windows boot, but at the welcome screen the display is sideways as well as the rest of the O/S. 

  Does anyone have a better idea how to resolve this problem than wiping the HDD and re-installing Windows XP?
