I have an MSI P6N SLI motherboard with 650i SLI chipset running WinXP pro and 2G of RAM. I recently updated the MSI mb drivers, which included a driver for the nforce 1000mbps onboard network connection. Ever since the update 2 weeks ago, the CPU stays

at 50-60% running svchost.exe -k netsvcs.  Through Process Explorer I have found the dll file ADVAPI32.dll is taking all the juice. I have looked at other threads, but none seem to address my specific problem. Windows Firewall is disabled and the ICS service

will not start. How can I fix this?
