Can't reinstall MSE- error code ox80070645

The problem started when KB2804527 would not install after 3 tries.I decided to uninstall MSE and reinstall it to no avail. It keeps giving me error code OX80070645. I have since tried every Mr. Fix it listed and this too produces no help. Mr.

fix It says microsoft antimalware can't be stopped. Im sure the unistall of MSE left problems behind but am at a loss where to go next The registry appears to not have any lefto0vers of MSE that I can find. I am running Vista and have had MSE running on this

computer for many years.
