windows 7 I cant watch a DVD on my laptop, it says I need to update my codec, what do I do??

WHEN i TRY TO WATCH A MOVIE (DVD) on my laptop, it does not come on. It tells me that my codec is out of date,and my Windows Movie Player needs to be updated.. What do I do?? What is a codec?? View the thread
