Would I get faster processing with Windows 7 Professional 32 bit than I have with XP 32 bit?

Thanks for your prompt response to my earlier question re upgrading to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  Per the Windows Upgrade Advisor, my system will take the 32 bit version of Windows Professional 7 with my current RAM. Would I still get faster processing

with Windows 7 than I have with my XP 32 bit?
