Hello, all.

Loving Windows 8!  I'm finding myself working in the Modern environment much more than I thought I would before I installed it full time after it went RTM.  The issue I'm having with Outlook 2010 is this:

Unless I'm working in the desktop environment at the time when new email arrives, there is no audible indication that a new email arrives.

To sum up:  When I'm working in the desktop environment, the email notification sound works fine when new email arrives.  When I am in the modern environment working on an app or simply sitting in the Start screen, there is no email notification

sound when new email arrives.
