This happened 4 times already. On 2 of them I used the stand alone installer from the downloads part of microsoft and it still isnt working I have Avast (free version) and I set it on silent mode and turned it off for an hour, still wont work! Plz help!

Most games these days require the graphical update in SP2 and it wont run them unless I have it! Gives me the CreateDXGIFactory thing. PLZ HELP!
