Guest google@buckl.co.uk Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I'm trying to migrate my printers to a new server which has a different name. I've done this but all the clients appear to reference the old server explicitly rather then just printer to PRINTERNAME on AD. Is this the norm? I'd assumed that if I downed the old server the clients would pick up the same AD name and print to the new server. Any help much appreicated. Steve

Is there a way I can move the printers from server 1 to server 2 without revisiting all the clients? cheers Steve
