I recently sysprep'd my hard drive to move it to a newer PC, the installation went fine but Win 7 needs re-activating. However, I cannot use the activation key that came with the original installation disc, so I phoned the support number...Firstly, after I enter all the numbers I am asked if this copy of windows is installed on one PC (#1) or more than one (#2). It is a family pack allowing for 3 licences (and I have it installed on 3 machines) so I enter #1. I then get a message telling me that

this copy of Win 7 cannot be installed on more than one machine (which isn't true) and the line goes dead. So I try again. On my second attempt, after entering all the numbers and saying it is only installed on one machine (yes, I had to lie to get past the automated system) I eventually get to speak to an adviser. The adviser told me there was a issue with the system and she couldn't

do anything, I questioned further but apparently she can't understand me (yes, I phoned the UK number) due to my English accent.Where do I go from here?
