Ahem -Pop-up claiming to be from MicroSoft Security Essentials in Red in center of blank IE page when searching for "Out of the Box" website by Mark Grant. This official looking box was very convincing and asked if I wanted to clean my computer of three viruses -

it was an emergency!!!

I ran a quick scan of MSFT Sec. Essen. and it came up clean.

I believe this was an effort to make me download the viruses.

If it was MSFT Sec. Essen. it was the first I've seen of it.

I confess I immediately deleted the site, address and cleaned out the computer using CCleaner, per Davvie, MSFT Answers.Also - Incredimail is destroying Outlook... but that is another story...
