What free anti malware program would anyone recommend that goes along with Microsoft Security Essent

I tried malwarebytes for a trial period but really didn't want to pay for it afterwards. Maybe I should just accept the fact that I should pay the 24.95. Its less than a virus program, though I really like Microsoft which is free.  I wish they would start

a free Malware program. Any other free Anti Malware programs that are recommended.  I don't want to quit Microsoft Sec Ess. Thank you.
