5 updates fail, error code 80073718 on Windows 8

I get the error code 80073718 whenever i install these 5 updates on my 64 bit Windows 8 desktop:

 

  • KB2778344
  • KB2790655
  • KB2799494
  • KB2793210
  • KB2795944

This error appears even when i attempt to install each of these updates individually. I've tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter from the Control Panel, as well as disabling my antivirus (Norton Internet Security 2013) but the updates still refuse

to install. 

 

 

Is there any way to resolve this issue? I have only recently "Refreshed" Windows 8 using the control panel option, so i hope there's a solution to this issue that does not require a reinstall of Windows.
