W7 TO W8 THEN BACK TO W7 NO SP1

Can anyone help an old lady to get an SP1 on my w7. I have tried eveything except rebooting and putting the pc back to original. I dont want to do this as I will lose everything on the pc.

 

Is there a simple answer for a simple person please??

 

Bought a new Tower which had w7 on, oh how I wished I had not tried w8. THANK YOU FOR READING
