Guest MattWood Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Hi, I am using Ultramon - good product and works pretty well. One thing that I can't get it to help me with though is this : I use a line of business application that opens window upon window as you select menus within the application. e.g. 0kay so its an insurance application, click 'policy', it opens up a new window, click 'search', opens up a new window, type in a policy number, opens up the policy in a new window. Each window behind is left open, but only the active window is accessible. The problem I have is that whilst the application is open on the secondary monitor where I want it, any new window generated by the application is opened in the primary. And to keep everything in one place, every single new window has to be manually dragged across (or use the title bar button, although that causes a problem with sizing) Question : Is there a way to 'anchor' the application into the secondary monitor so that all new windows generated from the application are opened in the (same) secondary, not primary monitor ??

You should ask the Ultramon tech support people this question. I agree that Ultramon is an excellent program and I also use it, although don't have your specialized issue. Guest Bob I Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Re: Multiple Monitors & ULTRAMON Normal window apps will Open in the last place they were closed. If your application is programed otherwise, then you will need to contact the programmer.
