Guest Wolfeymole Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 The Welcome Centre and Movie Maker are basic intrinsic Windows programs Leigh and it's pointless to remove them, just don't use them. Live Messenger can be removed but can you tell us what speed is your CPU and how much memory you have please? This info can be found by right clicking Computer and choosing Properties. Quote

Guest Wolfeymole Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 More about Silverlight here Leigh What is Silverlight, really? | Webware - CNET As for Lightscribe then if you don't intend to etch cd's then dump it. Can you give us a full inventory of just what is in your Programs and Features section please. Quote
Seth Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 How to use MSCONFIG: NetSquirrel.com Look to the bottom left of the welcome center, and uncheck the option to run at startup.
