just installed XP Home on a computer, and having some issues.used a SP2 disk, then immediately installed the SP3 update. then, installed the IE8 .exe from Microsoft's site. after that, connected to Windows update and DLed everything until was fully updated and there was no more updates.well, it seems a bit weird. one of the services is named wrong. the "Human Interface Devices" service is still called "HID", when it should be the former since SP3 should have changed the name. and, some updates seem to be missing from the add/remove. it just

doesnt add up when comparing it to another computer that has XP SP3 fully up to date. for example, IE8 only has 3 security updates listed (compared to my other computer's 12 or so updates), unless is that because installed it with the .exe file and it already

included most updates?just a bit worried. want to make sure my computer is fully updated and there isnt any problems going on.
