HOW DO I SWITCH WINDOWS DEFENDER BACK ON

I must have switched Defender off by mistake. I have tried the All-App from Start screen and I have tried security in Action Centre; all I get is a message saying that Defender is switched off and some other program is in its place. I must be doing something

wrong, I have also tried following the instructions on Windows Help page only to get the same reply
