windows 7 finding text in document

The search feature will locate the files with a key word just fine, but how does this keyword get transferred to the document you open without having to initiate another search in the application? When I open the file, it is necessary to now search withing

each document again, rather than being able to open it and have the find command already working and highlighting the keyword.
