Problem With Deploying Office 2013 from network share.

I'm following the instructions Microsoft provided to move the Office 2013 setup files to a network share drive to deploy. When I invoke setup.exe from the powershell script I created, the setup runs all the way to the end but then stops and gives me the

error "Microsoft Office encountered an error during setup". This has only happened on Windows 8 from my testing. What could be causing this?
