windows 7 not reconizing valid cetificate signatures

Upgraded my NEC Versa E3100 laptop, from XP,  with a larger hard drive and 3gig of memory. Installed Windows 7. Every thing went well except that I now have no sound. The speaker icon has a red circle with a white cross in the centre. The message that

come up is that there is no audio device present. I have down loaded the file from Realtek and tried to install but Windows does not allow this to happen. The software has a certificate but it is not being reconized by W.Thanks Douglas
