I am having problems with installing “Security update for Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 SP2 on windows XP (KB2789643)”. The update has installed on my computer but the Automatic update icon still remains in the system tray and is prompting me to install

it! I have tried removing the update and reinstalling but the problem remains the same. How do I remove the icon or cancel the update please?Also I have Microsoft .NET framework 1.1, 2 and 3 all loaded on my computer. Do I need to have all three? I do not really understand what this software does.
