The Automatic Updates haven't been working lately because my computer's last update was Dec 2012.

Therefore I checked the MS website to see if there were any updates needed and ran the manual update.

It displayed a list of 17 updates needed but when Install was selected it gave an error that 0 of 17 updates were installed.

Problem: A problem on your computer is preventing updates from being downloaded or installed

I tried running the Updates again but had the same problem.

The MS error screen only displays the names of the updates that failed (see above) without any steps for resolution.

Any suggestions?
