windows xp Microsoft MN-500 Broadband Wireless Base Station compatability issue

I have a Microsoft MN-500 Broadband Networking Wireless Base Station which ran well on my old PC which ran XP SP3.  I now have a laptop running XP SP3 and when I try to use the wireless router, it says that there is a "compatability issue with this version

of Windows even though it is the SP3 XP as my old PC.  I can't find any solution on the Microsoft web sites.  Any ideas?
