GPO to lock/unlocked Administrative Tools from control panel

Recommended Posts

Guys,

I have forgotten which control that locks/unlocks this feature. I am using

the local GPO (gpedit.msc).

I am able to go into control panel, but when I clicked on the Administrative

Tools, I get a Restrictions prompt.

I totally forgot what sets this.

Hi, Tnt,

I think the setting you want is User\Administrative Templates\Control

Panel\Hide specified Control Panel Items. There's also a Show only option.

Does that help?
