7800 gs driver failing to install

Having issue's with my display driver it does not want to install i have tried going into safe mode and trying to install it i have tried letting windows 7 install it for me threw windows update it keeps failing i don't know why  i have tried clicking

 and doing it threw device manager it wont work  but windows update gave an error code 800700ff when i go to device manger and update driver it says The extendeed attributs are inconsistant and see it was working fine untill windows update after windows update

i kept getting an error nivida c.om has stoped working  or something like
