I miss my WinXP

I was using Windows XP Professional when many of the functions of the operating system would not work (Hotmail, MSWORD, etc) and to get at my mail I downloaded Vista.  I am now missing much of  the data in my folders and would like to get back my WINXP. 

I have both the original Reinstallation CD for WinXP Pro and Wimdows Old.  I do not have a Vista CD.  Thanking you in advance.
