Hello

I have a problem installing SP1 in Windows Vista. It doesn’t install at all but it says it was successfully installed. I’m going to give you some details.

SP1(KB936330) is offered via Automatic updates. When I install it, one second after it says it was successfully installed. Some minutes later the cycle begins again through automatic updates and everything happens the same way. In the Windows update

history it says I installed it several times.

What I did:

I tried the “Fix it” but didn’t work.

In the windows update history I noticed there are many updates that failed the installation. The first one is Micros. .NET Frame. 3,5 SP1 e .NET Frame. 3,5 Family Update – KB951847 . It failed the installation on the 22.February.2013. Afterwards there

are 38 Updates that failed like KB 951066, KB959108, KB956802 and many more.

I can imagine it has something to do with this.

Details:

Windows Vista Home Premium – 64 bits. SP1 and SP2 not installed.

Antivirus – Microsoft Security Essentials (I’m not able to turn it off).

Firewall – Windows

I left the desktop in a shop to change the HDD and to install the same OS I had. They did it and they used their own DVD from Vista with my original key. While in the shop during the update, 38 were not successful. When I got the computer I can’t install

SP1.

Can anybody give me a tip to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot in advance.
