Nothing works after update, good game

Not only was a not allowed to postpone the update for more than 4 hours while my computer was in the middle of data recovery of my external hard drive (which of course restarted automatically while I was sleeping), but after the update, EVERYTHING is screwed

up.  Seriously?  I went to bed everything was fine, wake up, and my computer doesn't function AND it screwed up a VERY important and VERY time consuming data recovery? GREAAAAAAAAT.  Thanks a ton.Graphics aren't showing up, webpages aren't being displayed properly in Firefox (making them nigh unusable), Adobe Flash does not function, my background has changed, my taskbar looks like it came straight out of windows 95, instead of the nice pretty windows

7 one, I am now receiving an error as follows:There was a problem startingC:Users*******AppDataLocalTempSystperf.dllAccess is denied.It sucks that I only feel the need to come to the Microsoft website when you guys have ROYALLY pissed me off.So let's go ahead and start the time-consuming journey  I have been forced to undertake already!  I've got **** to do.
