After installation of update KB2670838 Win 7 keeps crashing to blue screen.

I currently have laptop set to automatic download and installation of windows updates. Update KB2670838 causes system crash whenever Internet Explorer Version 9 is running. I restored the laptop to a previous date using system restore and again allowed the

update to install again. Getting the same results as previous installation of the update. I uninstalled the update using Add/Remove programs and laptop seems stable.

I have Win 7 Pro 64 bit edition Serv pack 1 on HP DV7 laptop I7 processor and 16GB ram.
