If you seem to get the run around over non acceptance of your Product Key, here is a reason that could catch you out.Originally I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Premium. Then because of all the litttle annoying problems I had my technician offered me the chance to upgrade again to Ultimate which I took up.A few months later I get a notice that my Windows 7 is illegal. I couldn't believe it and for months I've been trying to get to the bottom of this problemuntil today when I received a clue as to why.The original upgrade from XP to Win7HP  was not showing anymore because it was all wiped out, and all Microsoft could see was the Ultimatum. This led Microsoft to believe that this Ultimatum was not legal as the Key I entered was not the key they had recorded when the XP and the 7 upgrade were still there. Well that's my story and I'm stickin' to it,  because it is the only thing that makes a bit

of sense out of all this.
