CANNOT DELETE JUNK MAIL FROM WINDOW LIVE

I am on Windows 7/Windows Live and I have 4 messages in my ‘junk folder’.   Every time I try to delete any one of them I get a pop up that informs me there is ‘an error has occurred’.  However,

it does not inform me what type of error it is?  I want to remove them from the junk folder to the delete folder and and the delete them permnently

 

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is and how I can get rid of them?  I am not a compouter literate person so I need the answer in very plain wording.
