I've placed a picture on flickr to give you a better idea of what I'm after

as my explanations arn't always brilliant.

When using windows explorer (on pc not website) in thumbnail mode I'm trying

to redirect the thumbnail to a different picture.

For example: The thumbnail shows a picture of a rainbow say but when you

double click on it the larger picture that opens is different picture within

the same folder, say a wedding dress.

It was setup on my wifes laptop prior to getting married but the process on

how to do it wasn't kept and the person is no longer available to contact.

Right-click the image file, and choose "Refresh thumbnail"

If that does not help, you may need to delete the file "thumbs.db" in that folder. Note that the Thumbs.db is a hidden file, so you need to first enable Windows to show all files (Tools - Folder Options).

I think that reverses or resets the thumbnail. I looking for a way to set it

back up again so that I can hide a picture behind a thumbnail.
