windows xp Outlook Express using the reply button

I open outlook express v 6 and new emails appear (as they should) in the inbox.I read an email and while it is the active email I hit the reply button."The Problem" the address outlook express chooses to send the reply to    is wrong I thought reply automatically sends the message to the address it was sent from     example the message came from  *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and the reply goes to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***please help
