I set up a Media Center pc. All that’s on it is Win 8 Pro with Media Center. It’s in my entertainment center and that’s all it’s used for. There’s one local account on it with administrator level access and it’s rebooted only every week or two. The other

day I tried to reset the time and got an access error. I had lost my administrator privileges on my local account. I started CMD with administrator privileges and ran net user administrator /active:yes. When I signed in as administrator I was able to set the

time but when I tried to access another account in User Accounts it wouldn’t let me. So I can’t reset the local account to give administrator access even with the hidden administrator account.

How can I set both accounts to give administrator access?
