Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2789642)

Error details: Code 643

Update type: Important

Each time I log in I am advised that ! important update is available which I accept. Each time the update fails without giving reason.  Microsoft "fix it" solution does not resolve the problem.  Later updates have installed correctly without any problems!
