windows 7 Firewall

Hi,

     I am trying to give my friend Remote Assistance using 3rd party software (TeamViewer8).He's hopeless at PC operating.I could remote him before when he was using his XP no trouble.Now that we both have W7 (64bit),we can't remote.I suspect it is his

Windows Firewall not allowing the hock up.I do not use the Windows Firewall because I'm using firewall provided in my Router.What adjustments should he add to his PC.It is vital that I give him assistance,he is so lost.He doesn't even know how to change from

his old Windows Messenger to Skype.

Would using Easy Connect be a help.We both use Windows7 Home Premium OS.
