XP network - sharing a monitor

Ok, this might be seen as OT, in which case, please point me to the

right group. In our office we run an informal LAN workgroup. We

collaborate on visual design tasks, and I'd love to have a central

monitor on the wall to which we can all throw images, essentially a

video whiteboard. The good quality flat screens that are out there

(TV or dedicated for data) should make this pretty easy.

Is there a network solution for such a screen? I presume it's a

possible? Can anyone point me in the direction of how to do this?

Many thanks,

Thomas Paterson

A KVM switch perhaps?

I have a shared monitor between two computers because of a lack of space and

this works well. They come 2 port 4port, etc. You can get one on ebay at a

good price.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, we're looking for something

more interactive - kind of like the screen in The Bourne Ultimatum,

actually. We need to keep our own screens live while sharing imagery.

OpenCanvas is a program that works similarly to Photoshop, but allows

several users to connect into a shared drawing session.

Isn't that the kind of thing netmeeting does?
